A Nefertiti Lift is a non-invasive procedure wherein tiny amounts of botulinum toxin type A are injected into the muscles in your neck, specifically the ones that run vertically from the bottom of the face to your collarbone, creating a downward pull on your jawline.
Named after Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, one of the most famous women of the ancient world and an icon of feminine beauty, known for her elongated, thin neck. ‘Nefertiti’ means ‘a beautiful woman has arrived’ and, true to its name, this mini-lift counteracts lost elasticity and the effects of gravity to redefine the age-vulnerable neck and jawline
This treatment specifically targets the neck and jawline area using Botulinum Toxin for a rejuvenating and uplifting effect.
The neck and jawline are often neglected in favour of facial work. However, if the neck or jawline are saggy and loose, then this can ‘give away’ the fact that treatment has been had elsewhere.
The neck area can be particularly tricky to treat effectively as the skin is quite delicate and thin. However, this treatment can deliver remarkable results.
The Nefertiti Lift is designed to redefine the jaw and also soften neck lines for a rejuvenating effect that presents smoother skin without the need for surgery.
WHO IS THIS TREATMENT FOR?
The Nefertiti Lift can be achieved with different treatment options and is used to target different issues of the lower part of the face, including:
lessen lines and wrinkles
smooth dimpled skin on the chin

even out the symmetry of the lower face, jaw, and neck
remove lines on the neck
create a more pronounced definition of the jaw
Benefits of the Nefertiti Lift:
Improved jawline definition
Improved appearance of prominent neck bands
Short treatment time
An effective alternative to surgical procedures
HOW DOES THE CONSULTATION WORK WITH HAMPSTEAD AESTHETICS?
Before your treatment you will have a consultation with Dr Chike Emeagi to discuss your concerned areas, ideal results, side effects and to disclose any medications or medical history.
After the initial consultation, Dr Chike Emeagi will be able to advise on the best treatment options for your individual case.
48 hours before the treatment you should avoid drinking any alcohol. On the day of the procedure, a thin, sterilized needle is used to inject the botulinum toxin into the muscle band along your lower face, jaw, and neck about a half inch apart. The toxin will then diffuse down gradually into the muscle.
This type of procedure will typically require multiple injections, but it only lasts around 15 minutes. If you are concerned about pain or discomfort, a topical anaesthetic or ice can numb the treatment area.
